New

  • Marketplace: 1,400+ apps to connect, grouped by what they do, with a search that finds apps by what you need
  • Orbo in Slack: ask Orbo in any channel, thread or direct message, and it answers right there, in the thread you asked in
  • Profiles: your own photo, title, time zone, working hours and status, kept for each company
  • Chat
    • Threads in every chat, and Orbo follows the threads in shared chats
    • @mentions in every chat, and you can see who is typing
    • Edit a message you sent, and Orbo answers again when nothing from its first answer took effect
    • Ask Orbo to do things in your connected apps, such as starting a call, and it shows what it did, with Undo where the app has one
    • Unsent words and images stay as a draft in each chat
    • An unread dot on each chat, and a New messages line where you left off
    • Attach a task, project, agent or note to a message, not just files
    • Delete a group chat you started, and Owners can delete any
    • Messages between Orbo and an agent show as one card, and say when the agent read them
  • Apps
    • Orbo's own apps for Fiskl, Railway, Azure and Stripe, so you sign in with your account and copy no keys
    • Pixxi, to read your listings, leads and agents, and add new leads and lead notes
    • An outside app's page suggests the Orbo app that fits beside it, such as the Notetaker beside Zoom
    • A plan gives each agent the apps its work needs, as a step on the plan's card
  • Tasks
    • Agents can split a big job across helpers
    • See who else has a task open, and what people did in each run
    • Agents can take a screenshot of a site at a phone's or a desktop's width
  • Meetings: the Notetaker can join your calls by itself: all of them, those with people outside the company, or only the ones you pick
  • Slack
    • A Slack page shows your company's conversations with Orbo and what it posted, and as whom
    • Ask Orbo in Chat to post in Slack, as Orbo, or as you once you confirm it
    • Orbo follows the threads it posted in or was tagged in
  • Team
    • See who is online and what each person has open
    • Set your status from your name in the sidebar, each status with its own Orbo icon
  • Email: a weekly email of what's new, with one-click unsubscribe
  • What's new: see what changed in each version, in the app and at orbo.work/changelog

Improved

  • Getting started: Orbo learns about your company first, then suggests the tools your team already uses and connects them in one go
  • Chat
    • Orbo answers in two chats at once, so a long answer in one doesn't hold up another
    • In a group chat, Orbo answers when a message is for it and stays out of the rest
    • In a group chat, everyone sees the cards, and only whoever may act on one gets its buttons
    • In a project's chat, new work goes to that project
    • You and Orbo, your private chat, keeps what Orbo learns in your own private notes
    • Attach up to 20 images and files at once
    • Pictures show as thumbnails and open full size in a viewer
    • A file Orbo names is a link that opens its preview over the chat
    • Copy, thread, edit and the time sit under your own message
    • The chat list shows who is in each chat, and a new chat is one click
    • Plans, changes, invitations and notes to keep read as the end of Orbo's message, with their buttons right there
    • Approve a plan on its card, leave out any task, and set each task's spending cap in place
    • A stopped reply says who stopped it and after how long, and Send again keeps your message
    • Orbo gets on with the work instead of asking first, and works out the project from what you say
    • Orbo reads your connected apps and opens the links you share before it plans
    • Start a call from Chat and Orbo invites the people you name
    • Invite people with a role for each address, right from Chat
    • In a voice call with Orbo, small things you ask for are done at once and said briefly
    • Orbo offers to keep a note in memory, saved with one tap
    • Orbo reads large files in parts and says what a failed save left undone
    • Orbo calls you by your first name
    • The panel beside Chat holds your tasks as tabs
  • Apps
    • Every company can connect Gmail and Google Calendar now
    • Ask Orbo in any chat to find an app for a job, and it adds it when you say yes
    • Orbo's own apps come first in the Marketplace and install with one button
    • Search for a service like Fireflies and the Marketplace shows Orbo's own app that does the job
    • An app's page shows which tools only read and which ask first, with a long tool list folded
    • An update that only lets tools read is applied by itself, and other updates say what they bring
    • Install cards in Chat show the app's icon, what it does and what it can do
    • Work on a service an installed app covers goes through that app, not an agent's browser sign-in
    • When Chat offers apps a Member can't add, one press asks the Owners
  • Tasks
    • The task page shows where a task stands at a glance, with every run in one timeline
    • A task is done when its agent's part is done, such as an open pull request, and the rest is your next step
    • A new date picker with Today, Tomorrow and Next week, and a due date can't come before the start
    • A goal has a 200-character limit with a live counter
    • Change a task's spending cap in place on its page
    • A task's next run picks up its files and work where the last one stopped
    • After you answer or approve, the agent carries on where it was
    • A note you add when you retry reaches the agent as your latest instruction
    • A reply on a finished task's result goes to Orbo in Chat, not always into a new task
    • A run says who stopped it and why, in plain words
    • What an agent did reads in plain words, never raw tool data, the same in Chat and on the task page
    • An agent's request for a tool is asked once, in plain words, and withdrawn when its task ends
    • Pick or make a project or agent right in the task form
    • A task's web address uses its number
    • Orbo puts every agent a job needs on one task, in the order they work, instead of splitting it
  • Code
    • One GitHub account reaches many repositories, you pick several at once, and each agent gets its own set
    • Agents push to their own branch, and one card opens and merges the pull request
    • An agent missing a repository asks for it, and one tap in Chat gives it
    • A change's card names the repository it goes to
  • Meetings
    • After a call, Orbo drafts its tasks from what was said, as one plan for you to approve
    • Hey Orbo in a call does things in your apps for the person who brought the Notetaker, small ones at once with Undo
    • Say "undo that" in a call and Orbo takes back what it just did
    • When someone outside the company may be listening, hey Orbo says only what they may hear, and bigger changes wait for a card
    • The Notetaker tells you at once when it waits to be let in, and calls Orbo sets up let it straight in
    • The Notetaker's camera shows Orbo in his headset
    • When a call link comes up in Chat, one tap sends the Notetaker
  • Team
    • People show with their own photo wherever they are named
    • Owners can remove agents and restore them, off-boarded ones included
    • The Chief of Staff comes first with a page of its own, and Roles sit beside the agents they make
    • Agent and project pages answer the main questions at a glance, one tile each
    • Pick an agent's mascot and colour when you hire it, and see it move while it works
  • Memory
    • Ask Orbo in Chat to put a note away
    • Agents keep their notes current, and every note is found by its first line
  • Notifications
    • Waiting on you and New results take the place of the bell and the daily brief
    • Red marks are only what you can act on now, and finished results show green
    • Tick several results, or Select all, and clear them at once, on a page that fits any width
    • Turning them on checks every step and sends a real test notification, with help for where Arc, Windows or macOS hide it
    • Phone notifications show Orbo's logo
  • Settings
    • AI accounts are one numbered list across Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, and the next takes over when one runs out
    • Name each AI account, so you can tell your subscriptions apart
    • Audit shows notes kept from Chat and taken back
    • Deleting a company asks for its name and your sign-in, then takes you to a company you still have
  • Email: a task's questions and approvals arrive as one conversation in your inbox
  • Speed
    • Chat replies start sooner
    • Tasks start sooner, and coding tasks set up faster
    • Agents' computers have more memory and a faster connection
    • Long lists show their first page at once, and Marketplace logos load faster
    • Google Calendar syncs only what changed
  • Everywhere
    • Press Beta beside orbo.work to tell us what to fix
    • Every page names itself in its browser tab
    • Signed in, the sign-in page takes you straight to the app
    • Usage is counted by orbo.work itself, with no outside analytics service

Fixed

  • Chat
    • The last message is no longer hidden behind the box you type in
    • A reply is no longer written twice when quick replies follow it
    • A request is acted on once, never twice
    • Coming back to a tab, Chat catches up on a reply still being written
    • A reply cut off by a pause carries on by itself
    • A search that found nothing shows as a normal step, not a red failure
    • A refused file always says why
    • A note name in double brackets that matches no note stays as written
    • While your AI allowance is used up, Chat no longer shows a reply spinning as if at work
    • Messages sent close together get one answer, not one each
  • Apps
    • The Marketplace shows each app once, and Installed lists only the apps your company added
    • A Mail or Calendar app from another maker can be uploaded again
    • Marketplace search no longer mixes near misses into its answers; they show under Similar
  • Tasks
    • An update to Orbo no longer stops a task at work
    • When an AI account runs out in the middle of a task, the task waits in line instead of failing
    • No free computer is a wait in line, never a failure
    • A task's computer no longer stops with "exit 137", and running out of memory is named in plain words
    • Npm install in an agent's work no longer asks you to approve
    • Copy and paste work again when you take control of an agent's computer, and keys no longer repeat on their own
    • The live browser no longer stops with "arriving too quickly" when you move the mouse or type
    • Agents' browsers draw sites built with 3D graphics
    • An expired app sign-in renews by itself, or a Reconnect card shows and the task carries on
    • After you approve an action, the agent gets its result, and Chat no longer shows waits that aren't there
    • A decided approval leaves Waiting for approval at once
    • A finished task that only needs you no longer shows as Stuck
    • A cancelled task asks nothing more
    • A task's header names the agent that asked what it waits on
    • A task waiting for a free computer shows one wait, not a new run for each try
    • A restarted run shows as the same run, not a new one
  • Code
    • An approved pull request is no longer cancelled when its base branch moves on
    • Watching a repository no longer stops on a merged pull request
    • When GitHub refuses, Orbo tells you GitHub's own reason
    • Checking an approved action no longer uses up your GitHub rate limit
    • Two GitHub accounts on one repository are told apart
    • A review or merge request clears once the pull request is merged
    • A refused repository name keeps what you typed
  • Meetings
    • A recap that failed is tried again by itself
    • Orbo no longer sends the Notetaker back into a call you didn't ask for
    • A call the Notetaker couldn't get into is reported once
    • Hey Orbo no longer names projects the person who brought the Notetaker can't see
  • Memory
    • Saving how a person likes to work from Chat works again
    • A standing rule you give Orbo goes to memory, not into a project's description
    • An empty note can no longer be saved
  • Notifications
    • Saving a device's notification choices works again
    • The sidebar card and Settings agree, and Turn on really turns them on
  • Settings
    • Changing an AI account's model or effort no longer stops a reply under way
    • A used-up AI account is checked again instead of waited out, and stops saying used up once it resets
    • Someone changed from Owner to Member loses Owner controls at once
    • A deleted company leaves the company switcher
  • Email: invitations come from the person who invited you and no longer land in spam
  • Phones
    • On an iPhone, scrolling Chat while Orbo replies is no longer cut short
    • Taps give haptic feedback again
    • In an iPhone browser, swiping from the edge goes back again, and the menu button opens the drawer
    • The page bar stays in view when the keyboard closes
    • An app's sheet scrolls only up and down, and the drawer scrolls as one column
    • A finished task's details show every fact
    • A phone turned sideways keeps the phone layout
  • Everywhere
    • After an update, an open tab reloads itself once instead of showing an error
    • The collapsed sidebar no longer flickers while one of its menus is open
    • Focus rings no longer flash on a click, and are never cut off

Also in 0.1.0

New

  • Getting started
    • A new company opens in Chat, where Orbo helps you connect your AI account, asks what your company does and puts the first agents to work
    • Quick replies under Orbo's questions, and an invite card that brings in your team, each invitation with a link to copy
  • Chat
    • Keep as many chats as you like, each about the company or one project, grouped by project in the sidebar
    • Rename or archive a chat, read an archived one without restoring it, or delete it for good, with backup copies erased within 14 days
    • Your chats are only yours, and Owners can't read them either; private mode also keeps a chat out of shared memory and turns web search off
    • Turn web search on or off for each chat, and see the web pages and memory notes a reply came from
    • Attach images, PDFs and text files, up to four of each, from the add menu, by pasting, or by dropping them anywhere on Chat
    • Orbo turns a request into a plan of tasks, each with a cost estimate; a bigger plan waits for you to review it, leave tasks out and publish
    • Orbo creates projects, hires agents and changes work itself, then says what it did; deleting and sending invitations wait on a card for you
    • After Orbo reads an email or other outside content, the changes it drafts wait for you to apply them
    • Orbo reports in the chat when a task it started finishes, gets stuck or needs you, and agents' questions and approvals show up there too
    • Beside Chat, Needs you gathers decisions, questions, stuck work and results, Live shows the work running now, and records Orbo names open there
    • Replies stream as Orbo writes them, Stop ends one, and a reply that failed stays under your message with Send again
    • Press Keep to put a message in memory, or ask Orbo to remember something and save the note it shows you on a card
    • Orbo lives beside the box you type in: it follows your pointer, shows when it is thinking or working, and can be picked up and dragged
    • Start a voice call with Orbo from beside Send; your words show as you speak and its replies are spoken aloud
    • In a voice call, talk over a reply or press Interrupt to stop it, mute when you need to, and find every turn in the chat afterwards
  • Agents
    • Hire an agent from 9 ready roles, such as Coding, Research, Content, Inbox and support and Sales follow-up, or from a role of your own
    • Owners write the company's own roles in the Marketplace's Roles tab, or copy a built-in one and change it; each edit saves a new version
    • The Team page shows every agent beside your people, with what each is working on, what it needs, or the task it did last
    • Choose what each agent can reach on its Can reach tab: each app's tools, the account it works in and the projects that applies to
    • Halt an agent until you resume it, or off-board it from every project; Owners can delete one and restore it while its deletion waits
    • Each agent keeps one browser profile from task to task, with the sites it stays signed in to
  • Tasks
    • Create a task with a title, what done looks like, a project and who does it, an agent or a person, and each task gets its own number
    • Put several agents on one task, each working on it in turn
    • Give a task a start time, a due date and the tasks it waits on; overdue tasks show in red
    • Repeat a task daily, weekly or monthly from its form or by asking in Chat, then change or stop the repeat on its page
    • One page lists every task you can see, grouped by state, with filters for project, agent and overdue, and finds a task by number or title
    • Each agent task shows an estimated cost range from the start, and while it runs, what it has spent and what it should cost in total
    • Set a spending cap on a task; at the cap the agent stops and asks you to raise it, remove it or stop the task
    • A task's page opens with where it stands and why, the progress its agent reported, and each step and shell command as it happens
    • A finished task leads with a short summary in your language, its main file shown in the page and its other files as cards
    • Orbo checks each finished task against what done looks like, and work that falls short goes back to its agent
    • What a finished task still needs from you is listed on its page; answer each item and the agent carries on in a follow-up task
    • Retry a task that stopped or came back partly done, with a note on what to change, or stop a run or cancel the task
    • Files open as what they are: documents with their sources as footnotes, code, tables, images, web pages that run nothing, and PDFs
    • Report a problem shares a copy of a task, which you review first, with Orbo support for seven days, and you or an Owner can revoke it
  • Projects
    • Each project has its people and agents, its tasks and its own files, and a Member sees only the projects they are on
    • Upload files or write new text files in a project, open any file in a preview, edit text in place or download it
    • An agent at a sign-in page asks you to sign in in its own browser, and you can save that sign-in as one of the project's logins
    • A project's Logins tab lists its saved sign-ins with who signed in and when, and the project's agents use them without asking again
    • When a saved login runs out, the task asks the person who signed in, and one new sign-in lets every waiting task go on
  • Automations
    • A rule watches an app event, such as a new email, an overdue reply, a calendar event about to start or a GitHub check finishing
    • When a rule fires it asks Orbo, or creates a task in its projects for the agents you choose
    • One page holds your rules, repeating tasks and scheduled tasks; pause, resume or retire a rule and see each time it fired
  • Approvals
    • Buying or paying on a website asks an Owner, and sending, posting or deleting on a site asks a person first
    • Password changes, money transfers and bank submissions are handed to a person to do in the agent's browser
    • Approve a website send once, for the rest of the task, or for that agent on that site from then on; buying and deleting ask each time
    • An agent's terminal asks before it first sends data to a site, runs a script it downloaded or connects to a new server
    • Trust is earned per tool in each project; a tool that sends outside asks until an Owner allows it, and a first message to someone new asks
  • Memory
    • Link notes by writing a title in [[double brackets]], and each note lists the notes that link to it
    • A graph shows every note and link, with filters, groups and display settings, and works from the keyboard
    • Write a fact, a rule or a skill, or tell Orbo in Chat how work should be done, and your rule reaches every agent it is for
    • A finished task lists what it taught; Keep a lesson so agents rely on it, or put it away
  • Meetings
    • Send Orbo's Notetaker to a Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams call from the Meetings page, with Undo right after you press Send
    • Ask Orbo in Chat to send the Notetaker to a call, or ask what was said in a meeting, even one still going on
    • Before the Notetaker goes you confirm everyone in the call knows, and in the call it is named Orbo Notetaker, with (recording) when it records
    • Follow the transcript live during the call, with words showing as people speak and each line named for who said it
    • Keep a recording if you choose, play it above the transcript, and press any line to play from that moment
    • After the call Orbo writes a recap with decisions and action items; make a task from any item, or email the recap
    • Search what was said across your meetings, and keep your own notes on a meeting as the call goes
    • Say "hey Orbo" in a call to ask a question; Orbo says one moment, answers out loud in the call, and the answer stays in Chat
    • Orbo appears on the Notetaker's camera, looking around when the call is quiet, nodding while people talk and moving as it speaks
    • The Notetaker leaves once everyone else has gone; stop it and keep what it heard, or withdraw permission to erase it all
    • Transcripts follow English, Arabic, Spanish and Chinese, even mixed in one call, and spell the names an Owner adds in Settings
  • Mail
    • Every mailbox you can use in one inbox or one at a time, with folders, labels, unread counts and your mail provider's own search
    • Write, reply, reply all and forward in rich text, with Cc and Bcc, attachments, address suggestions and a signature for each account
    • Drafts save as you type, and Send gives you a moment to undo it
    • Archive, delete, mark as spam, star, label and snooze in one press with Undo, from buttons or Gmail's keyboard shortcuts
    • Pictures from other sites stay hidden until you show them, and a link whose text names a different site asks before it opens
    • Agents send from an approval card where you can edit the recipients, subject and message first, and a reply stays in its thread
    • Agents file, label, star and draft mail once you approve their first try in a project; trash, spam and deleting a draft ask each time
    • Hand to an agent turns a conversation into a task, and an agent picks its thread up again when a reply arrives or none comes in time
  • Calendar
    • Every calendar you can use in one view by day, several days, week, month or agenda, with weekends shown or hidden
    • Drag an event to move it, drag its edge to resize it, or draw a new one on the grid; a change that notifies guests asks first
    • New events can repeat, be all day, focus time or out of office, and carry a Google Meet or Teams call
    • Find a time lists free times for you and teammates within working hours, and Compare with people shades their busy times
    • Offer up to five times by email: they are held on your calendar, and Mail opens a message that lists them
    • A time an agent proposes is a striped hold you can approve, drop or drag to another time
    • Agents book, move and cancel events and answer invitations through cards you can edit, and their events name the agent and its task
    • Send the Notetaker from an event with a call, and see the recap's action items on the event afterwards
  • Code
    • Connect GitHub in one click where a coding agent waits: sign in, then create a private repository for the project or pick one you have
    • The Code page lists pull requests by state and by whose: yours, waiting for your review, or from agents
    • Read changes as a unified or split diff with line comments, mark files viewed, and open a check to see the step that failed
    • Comment, reply on a line and review (comment, approve or request changes), and open, close and label issues, from the Code page
    • Open a pull request from a branch comparison, merge it by merge commit, squash or rebase, and browse a branch's files and history
    • Coding agents clone your repository and push only to their own branches, so their work reaches yours through a pull request
    • An agent's commits, pull requests and merges come on a review card that shows every changed file, with titles, messages and text you can edit
    • After a merge, the task shows whether GitHub recorded the pull request as deployed, and where
  • Apps
    • The Marketplace groups apps by job, Mail, Calendar, Code and Meetings, each with the services that plug into it and one button for your next step
    • Outlook Email, Outlook Calendar, GitHub and the Notetaker are there to add; Gmail and Google Calendar are turned on company by company
    • Mail, Calendar, Code and Meetings each open as a full page in orbo.work, with your agents' work shown where it applies
    • Install an app from the Marketplace or a card in Chat; it lists everything it asks for, and no agent gets it until you choose which
    • Each app keeps its accounts, yours, a project's or the company's, with the agents that work in each and one button when it needs you
    • An Owner adds the company's own apps with Add an app: a remote MCP server's address, a skill, or a plugin made for Claude Code or Codex
    • Ask Orbo for a published skill, plugin or MCP server by name, and an Owner adds it from that one line in Chat, pinned to an exact version
    • A published MCP server from npm or PyPI runs on the agent's own computer and reaches only the sites an Owner accepted
    • Ask Orbo in Chat for an app of your own, made of instructions, lists of records and a page to add to them
    • An app your company added asks before every change it makes, and a new version whose tools changed waits for an Owner
  • Team
    • Create a company and you are its first Owner, and people you invite join without waiting
    • Invite people by email as an Owner or a Member; only that address can accept, for seven days, and you can copy its link to send yourself
    • Share a Member invite link for seven days, with Copy, Share and a code to type; it shows the company and who invited you before you join
    • Owners change a person's role, remove someone or cancel an invitation, each confirmed first, and a company always keeps at least one Owner
    • Members hire and change agents and add apps for the projects they are on; deleting a project or an agent is for Owners
    • Belong to several companies and switch between them from the sidebar, where you can also create or join another
  • Notifications
    • The inbox bell holds your notices, with one unread count on phone and computer, and an approval can be decided from its row
    • A task you asked for tells you when it finishes, stops or is sent back, with a notice that opens it
    • Turn on notifications for each browser or phone in Settings, and choose approvals, tasks and meeting recaps
    • A phone or desktop notification says only that something needs you; what happened shows once you open orbo.work
    • Questions and approvals also reach you by email; an approval's link is yours alone and works once, and opening it decides nothing
    • On working days, Orbo leaves you a daily brief in your inbox when your projects moved since the last one
  • Settings
    • Settings has its own list in the sidebar, starting with your own Profile, Preferences, Notifications, and Sign-in and security
    • See every browser and phone signed in to your account and sign out of any of them; changing your password signs out the others
    • An Owner connects the company's AI account: sign in with ChatGPT or Claude, or paste a Gemini API key
    • An Owner picks the model from the provider's live list and an effort level, in Settings or by asking Orbo in Chat
    • The sidebar shows how much of your ChatGPT or Claude allowance is used and when it resets, and work waits once it runs out
    • Owners set the spending cap each new agent task starts with, and pick the company's time zone from a list that shows each zone's time
    • Policy sets limits on agents and who approves what, Reports shows each month's results, and Audit shows Owners who did what
    • Owners can halt all company work until they resume it, or delete the company, with a wait to restore it or at once after a fresh sign-in
  • Phones
    • Every page fits a phone, with one bar at the top of each page and the inbox in it
    • The menu slides the page aside, opened from the menu button or a swipe from the edge, and a dot shows when something needs you
    • On an iPhone, Chat's message box stays on top of the keyboard while you type
    • Add orbo.work to your home screen and it opens as an app, straight into Chat
    • Mail, Calendar, Code, Meetings and Memory are laid out for a phone, and the memory graph moves under your finger
  • Languages
    • Orbo.work in English, Arabic, Spanish and Chinese, from the app to its emails and notices, with Arabic read right to left
    • Pick your own language in Settings, or Automatic to follow your browser, and your emails and notifications follow it
    • Write your first Chat message in another language and orbo.work switches to it, with Undo
    • Agents write to you in your language, and keep shared records such as task titles in the company's working language
  • Everywhere
    • Press ⌘K to search everything, archived chats and each setting included, and to start a new chat, task or project
    • Sign in with Google or your email; Google sign-in asks only for your name, email and picture, and disconnecting Google ends its access
    • Send feedback to the Orbo team from your account menu, Settings, ⌘K or Chat, where you can add screenshots
    • Light, dark or system appearance and five accent colours, kept on each device
    • Privacy, terms, cookies, subprocessors and security pages on orbo.work
