Use case · Meetings
The AI that joins your calls and does the action items.
orbo.work sends a notetaker into your Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls. It writes the transcript and a recap, then suggests the follow-up tasks. Each task goes to a teammate or to an AI agent that does the work on its own computer, and anything that leaves the company waits for a person’s OK.

In the call
It joins the call
Send the notetaker to a Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams call. Everyone in the call must know it’s there first.
Ask it out loud
In a Google Meet call, anyone can ask it a question, like “Hey Orbo, what did we decide about the launch date?”, and it answers out loud.
Your notes, beside the transcript
Write notes as the call goes. Start a line with [ ] and it becomes an action item.
Search every meeting
Find what was said across your calls by searching transcripts and titles.
After the call
It writes the recap.
The transcript is saved, and a recap with the action items follows.
It suggests the follow-ups.
It reads the transcript and proposes tasks, without anyone asking. Changes wait for approval in Chat.
You choose who does each one.
Make an action item a task for a person, or for an agent in the right role, like Sales follow-up or Research.
The work gets done, with proof.
The agent works on its own computer. A sent email keeps its message ID, and code arrives as a pull request.
A notetaker stops at the summary.
| Compared on | A meeting notetaker | |
|---|---|---|
| After the call | A summary and a list of action items | Action items become tasks that a person or an agent does |
| Who does the follow-up | You, or whoever you remind | A teammate, or an agent with its own computer and logins |
| What it remembers | Each meeting, in your account | What the team shares, known to everyone’s agents; private chats stay private |
| Sending the follow-up email | A draft for you to send | Written in the same thread and sent after a person’s OK |
Consent and privacy
Everyone is told
The notetaker joins only after the people in the call know it transcribes.
Recording is your choice
It transcribes every call it joins, and keeps a recording only if you ask.
Withdraw it, and it’s gone
When permission is withdrawn, the call’s transcript, recap, notes and recordings are erased.
Questions
- Which meeting apps does orbo.work work with?
- Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls. In a Google Meet call, anyone can also ask it a question out loud.
- Does it record the call?
- It transcribes every call it joins and keeps a recording only if you ask. Everyone in the call must know it’s there.
- Can it send the follow-up email itself?
- Yes, after a person’s OK. An agent writes it in the same email thread and it waits for approval in Chat. Once it has proven itself on that kind of email, it offers to stop asking, and you can always take that back.
- How is it different from Otter, Fireflies or Fathom?
- Those are meeting notetakers: they give you a transcript, a summary and the action items. orbo.work also turns each action item into a task and hands it to a person or an AI agent that does the work, on its own computer and with the logins you give it.
