01About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Orbo Technologies Ltd, a company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Orbo", "we", "us"). They apply when you use orbo.work. If you use orbo.work for a company, you accept them for that company too and confirm that you may do so. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
02Accounts and companies
- You need an account to use orbo.work. While it is invitation only, accounts come through the waitlist, an invitation or a join code.
- You must be at least 18 and use orbo.work for work. Give accurate details and keep your sign-in safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- A company has Owners and Members. Owners manage the company, its people, its connected accounts and its plan, and can delete it. The company is responsible for the people it invites and what they do in it.
03What the service does
orbo.work gives your company a team of AI agents led by a Chief of Staff. Agents work on the tasks people give them, in isolated sandboxes, using the accounts and tools your company connects. Some actions, such as deleting things or inviting people, wait for a person's approval.
orbo.work is new. We add, change and remove features as it develops, and it may sometimes be unavailable. We tell companies before a change that takes away something they rely on, when we reasonably can.
04Your content
What your company puts into orbo.work, and what agents produce for it, belongs to your company. You give us permission to store, process and send it only as needed to run orbo.work for you, including through the services listed on our Subprocessors page. We do not use it to train AI models.
You confirm that your company has the right to put its content into orbo.work and to connect the accounts it connects.
05AI and the actions agents take
- AI can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Review what agents produce before relying on it, and especially before approving an action.
- Agents act through your company's connected accounts and within the permissions your company gives them. Your company is responsible for what it approves or allows agents to do in its name.
- Your company's AI provider account is governed by your agreement with that provider, including its usage policies and charges.
06Meetings
The notetaker joins calls as a visible, named participant. Before sending it, make sure the people in the call know it is there, and get their consent where the law requires it for recording or transcribing a conversation. Do not send it to calls you have no right to record.
07Acceptable use
Do not use orbo.work to:
- break the law or someone else's rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
- send spam, deceive people, or impersonate someone;
- get into accounts, systems or data you are not allowed to access, or break other services' terms;
- attack, overload or probe orbo.work, get around its sandboxes or limits, or copy or resell it;
- create malware or content that exploits or harms children.
We may suspend or end access that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless the law or safety stops us.
08Fees
If your company buys a paid plan, the price, billing period and cancellation terms shown when it buys apply. Payments are taken by our payment provider. Prices do not include taxes unless they say so. Charges from your company's own AI provider account are between your company and that provider.
09Ending
Your company can stop using orbo.work at any time: its Owner deletes the company in Settings, Danger zone. It can be restored for a period shown when it is deleted, then its data is erased, as our Privacy Policy describes. We may end orbo.work for a company that seriously breaks these terms, or stop offering the product, with reasonable notice where we can give it.
10Disclaimers
orbo.work is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
In plain words: we work hard to keep orbo.work running and correct, but we can't promise it will never be down or never make a mistake.
11Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Orbo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from orbo.work. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
In plain words: we are not responsible for knock-on losses, such as lost profit, revenue or data, that come from using orbo.work, except where the law says we must be.
12Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we update the date at the top. For a change that matters, we tell companies using orbo.work by email or in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use orbo.work after that means you accept the new terms.
13Governing law
These terms, and any dispute about them or orbo.work, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not take away protections that the law where you live gives you and that cannot be waived.
In plain words: if there is a dispute, UAE law applies and UAE courts decide it, but you keep any protections your own country's law gives you that cannot be signed away.
